    CHAD W. SCOTT

    President | Veteran Majority Owner

    Chad is veteran-majority owner and president of Nordic Group, Inc. He manages the firm’s overall resources and operations and makes critical decisions that affect the day-to-day functions of the business. Chad oversees budgeting of resources, safety, project estimates, sales, marketing, and routinely reviews the profitability of projects to ensure business objectives are being met. He is responsible for all construction services that includes building, marine, and civil groups, both topside and underwater. His history in construction extends back to his youth where he was involved in residential and commercial construction projects from a very young age. Over the past 30 years, Chad has been involved in the project management and construction industry completing varying size projects throughout the United States. His specialty certifications as a commercial hard hat diver began his path of ownership creating Nordic Underwater Services. His knowledge of marine structures, dams, and bridges launched his career in underwater concrete, welding, and specialty composite repairs. Chad has been a leader in the industry testing, developing, and installing new underwater products to repair our severely decaying infrastructure. After years of performing underwater construction only, Nordic Underwater Services, Inc. has now expanded and is doing business as (dba) Nordic Group, Inc. Nordic has added additional marine, building, and civil construction services associated with the marine industry. Chad is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged after eight years of service to his country.

    CRAIG A. JOUPPI

    Vice-President | Minority Owner

    As a minority owner, Craig serves as Nordic Group, Inc.’s vice-president. With over 20 years of construction experience, he leads the estimating and planning for the building segment of Nordic Group. He creates and implements timelines and schedules for initial project start up, evaluates risk, and holds his team accountable for meeting agreed upon budgets and timelines. Craig collaborates with project managers to develop all majority subcontractor and material bids, while directing construction building projects from beginning to final completion. Craig also leads our design build services for the building projects. To save cost, time and to best serve our clients, Craig works with key clients to give turnkey solutions for their building needs. Craig is responsible for ensuring all building projects meet their deadlines, goals and clients receive great services and a quality product. He also assists with streamlining bidding, financial analysis of complete projects, insurance assessments and reporting processes to ensure staff are working at peak efficiency and Nordic is successful in bidding projects.

  • STEVE FOSTER

    Civil Department Manager

    Steve has extensive experience with land surveying/civil engineering technical work and over 20 years of civil, marine, and industrial construction experience. Steve has been a project manager for Nordic since its inception in 2012 and has been involved as a manager on multiple projects that included site design and oversight, permitting, surveys and construction staking, estimating, crew coordination, procurement and serving as the liaison between Nordic and its clients.

    Project Superintendent

    Luke has extensive experience in civil, building and marine construction management and superintendent experience. As a superintendent for Nordic Group he has been involved in coordinating multiple complex projects that include, estimating, site and crew coordination, material purchasing, project reporting, client meetings and acting as an onsite contact between Nordic and Clients.

    Estimator & Project Manager

    Sean is a highly skilled and experienced construction estimator and project manager with a proven track record of successfully overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. He has a strong background in estimating, budgeting, and managing resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Sean excels in collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals.

    Accounts Payable

    Debra works in the accounting department and brings over 35 years of payroll and bookkeeping experience to her role. She is in charge of payroll, accounts payable and collections.

  • Aaron Young

    Dive Supervisor & Safety Manager

    Aaron holds a standard of safety and service excellence obtained from his twelve years of service for the U.S. Navy and more than seven years of service to Nordic Group. Aaron oversees logistics for all underwater inspection, construction, and underwater imaging projects for Nordic Group. He ensures a safe, healthy, and productive work environment committed to training employees on the importance of health and safety. This commitment helps protect the company, client property and assets, and ensures efficient operations that meets any specific client requirements. He guarantees all jobs are OSHA compliant and maintains and tracks all employee training certificates and the company’s drug, alcohol, and contraband policy, which is consistent with the laws of the states in which the company is working.

    Administrative Lead and HR Specialist

    With a keen eye for organizational efficiency, Katie plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of Nordic Group. Katie oversees various administrative functions within the organization, ensuring that processes are streamlined and productivity is optimized. She is responsible for many critical processes including compliance and bidding. She also serves as the HR specialist assisting with talent acquisition and employee onboarding.

    Gene is a senior level project manager and superintendent with over 35 years of building experience and a proven knowledge of estimating, project planning, productivity and performance management. An accomplished and results-oriented project manager who has used his expertise on projects throughout the United States, Gene fosters positive team development through his superior communication skills and top-notch planning.

    Accounting Lead

    As a dedicated and detail-oriented accounting professional, Chris leads the accounting department for Nordic Group. He manages the company's financial accounts, payrolls, budget, cash receipts and financial assets. He ensures Nordic Group follows proper accounting procedures to reach financial objectives and is compliant with local, state, and federal laws.
