CONNORS POINT COVE MARINA
Nordic Group constructed a 40-slip marina at Connors Point Cove. Construction included a 300-foot-long blasted rock breakwall that was placed on an existing timber crib for an old coal dock that was once located there. Nordic built a 125-foot-long, 14-foot-wide fixed dock by utilizing existing piles from the old coal dock. The piles were wrapped with HDPE rebar cage set inside and poured with concrete. The framing was then attached to the concrete encapsulated wooden piles and decking was installed on top. Nordic constructed a 270-foot fixed pier by installing helical piers through the ice, and then attached the framing to the piers.
The marina was dredged out by our excavator and we installed a 300-foot wooden boardwalk and roll-in docks. The marina was completed by constructing concrete walks and a pre-cast concrete boat launch.
