PORT OF LAFITO

Nordic Group was awarded a contract by Seaboard Marine to repair and complete construction at their Port Lafito shipping facility.  The project was completed in three phases, starting with emergency seawall repairs. This phase included fabrication of plate patches, underwater welding and burning, cement/grouting operations and rigging/ crane operations.   

Phase two of construction consisted of dirt work, including catch water basin installation, dredging pile driving, land grading, compacting and refurbishment and the removal of any bent or broken tie-rods.
